Show answer and explanation
Answer: B. 101101
45 = 32 + 8 + 4 + 1, giving 101101₂ (repeated division by 2 gives remainders 1,0,1,1,0,1 read upwards). 110101₂ = 53, 101011₂ = 43 and 100101₂ = 37.

Question 2 · Data and information
What is 110110₂ in base ten?
Show answer and explanation
Answer: A. 54
1×32 + 1×16 + 0×8 + 1×4 + 1×2 + 0×1 = 54. 27 is half the value (as if the last 0 were dropped), 108 is double it, and 46 comes from mis-weighting the digits.
