The platform, the mentor, the curriculum and the certificate are identical. This note is about why we don't run a single global price — and how the mechanism actually works, so nobody arrives at checkout confused.
Same product. Different local pockets.
A globally uniform price at the level a US learner can carry would price a Nigerian learner out of the school. A globally uniform price at the level a Nigerian learner can carry would ask the US learner to underwrite them without saying so. Neither is fair. The alternative is: set each region's monthly price to what a working-adult month can reasonably carry where they are, and treat that as the school's price in that market.
That's it. There is no discount code, no promotion, no scholarship queue. Nigerian pricing is Nigerian pricing. UK pricing is UK pricing. US pricing is US pricing. Ghana, Kenya and South Africa land in the same shape through Paystack rails in local currency. In every case, the local price is the price — not a special favour to the region.
The country of study is not the country of billing.
The most common confusion this creates is about which country picks the price. It's the billing country — the country your card, bank account or manual transfer originates in. Not the country you're studying about, not the country of your business, not the country you live in for six months of the year. Where the money leaves from is where the regional price is set.
Concretely: a Nigerian working in the UK with a UK card pays UK pricing. A UK-passport-holder living in Lagos paying with a Nigerian card pays Nigerian pricing. A Ghanaian based in Kenya paying through Paystack in KES pays Kenya's regional price. The rule is boring on purpose. Complicated rules invite optimisation; a boring rule doesn't.
What we won't do.
We don't quietly move you up a tier if we detect your billing country has changed. We don't add fees to "correct" for regional differences at checkout. We don't run a "starter" bracket that unlocks less content at the lower price — the platform is the same for every learner. We publish the region-specific prices on the pricing page and on this note, and we hold to them.
What we'll do next.
As more African markets come through Paystack and as more platform payment rails become viable, we'll add regions one at a time, at prices set to the same working-adult month rule. Every new region will appear on the pricing page with the same shape as the ones already there. If a region does not appear, we have not committed to it.
