About

A practical business school for people who already have the skill.

eZine Trades & Business School is a specialised programme within eZine Learning. It exists to help tradespeople, small-business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs build structured, resilient businesses around the skills they already have — with education, systems, tools, and mentor support that survives the day after enrollment.

Category

Practical business transformation education.

Not a video-course marketplace. Not a coaching subscription. Not a degree programme. A practical school that diagnoses where you are, teaches what you need now, and reviews the decisions you make in your actual business — inside an authenticated Study Desk after enrollment.

We do not use the words "accredited", "recognized", "approved" or "university" to describe our programmes unless the exact claim has been independently confirmed for the specific jurisdiction and program. As of this page's publication, none of those claims apply to eZine Trades & Business School.

Educational philosophy

Evidence, not attendance.

A learner does not pass a stage because they watched a video. They pass because the artefact exists — pricing rule written, records reconciled, roles documented, forecast modelled. Every program lands in a concrete deliverable.

Method

The seven-stage system

Diagnose · Design · Learn · Apply · Review · Improve · Grow. Named, sequenced, and consistent across every learner and cohort.

Assessment

Stage-gates on evidence

Stages unlock against artefacts and application tasks, not against calendar dates. Progression cannot be gamed by consumption.

Personalisation

One curriculum per learner

The Study Desk assembles the curriculum from the 12-stage blueprint against the learner's industry, stage, location and goals — not a fixed syllabus.

Mentorship

Mentor reads your work

The AI Business Mentor uses the learner's Business Progress Record, industry pack, saved artefacts and prior commitments to review decisions in context.

Instructor standards

Who teaches — and to what standard.

The named faculty and adviser roster is being assembled and will appear here as each person agrees to be listed with their real credentials. We do not fabricate instructors or list people we haven't confirmed with. Until this section names real people, it names the standards we hold instead.

  • · Practical business experience in the domain they teach, verified against a portfolio or references.
  • · Clear conflict-of-interest disclosure — instructors declare active commercial interests where they intersect with a program.
  • · Content review by at least one second reviewer before publication.
  • · Jurisdictional caveats where the material touches law, tax, licensing or funding.
  • · No instructor uses regulated language ("accredited", "recognized", "approved", "university") outside the exact confirmed use.

The AI Business Mentor is not an instructor. It is a tool — bounded, disclosed, and capable of being wrong. See the mentor page for how it uses your context, what it escalates to human professionals, and how to correct it.

Responsible AI

The mentor is disclosed, bounded, and correctable.

The AI Business Mentor is used inside the authenticated Study Desk to review learner decisions. It uses retrieval from reviewed eZine curriculum and dated jurisdictional content. It does not invent regulations, funding programmes, prices, market facts or program availability. Legal, tax, regulated financial and health questions escalate to qualified professionals. Learners can flag any response for correction and human review. Confidential learner data is not used for public AI training without explicit lawful authorisation.

Learner safeguarding & data

What we do with your data, plainly.

Minimum data

Only what the product needs

Data minimisation and purpose limitation on every form. Fields exist because the product uses them, not for future analytics.

Encryption

In transit and at rest

TLS on every request. Encrypted storage. Business and revenue figures kept confidential and excluded from public reporting without explicit consent.

Tenant isolation

Cohorts don't leak

Organisation tenants are isolated at the database, not the app. A facilitator in one cohort cannot see another cohort's data.

Consent

Per-channel, per-purpose

Email, SMS, WhatsApp and in-app opt-ins are separate. Preferences editable from every footer. Journeys suppress on conversion.

Rights

Export, correct, delete

You can export your data, correct it, or delete your account. Support answers those requests within a working week.

Minors

Age-appropriate protection

eZine Learning has a separate child-safety posture (see the parent-org privacy pages). eZine Trades is aimed at adults; where an organisation enrols under-18s, additional safeguards apply.
